Local musicians donate their time to benefit our Outer Banks neighbors in need. Quarterly performances are held at Grace Lutheran Church. Beautiful music of all kinds, family-friendly. No tickets or purchase necessary. If you have a mind to give, donations are welcome.
Our most recent concert, held on September 29th 2024, benefitted the Beach Food Pantry. Next performance will be on December 22nd 2024 at 4:00 pm, to benefit OBX Room in the Inn!

With four concerts scheduled throughout the year, the series is designed to bring people together to enjoy live music in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Three Main Objectives: The concert series serves three primary purposes:
- Sharing a Love of Music: Each performance is an opportunity to connect with others who appreciate music and the arts, featuring a wide range of genres and styles—from beloved classics like The Carpenters to uplifting hymns.
- Offering Free Access to All: The concerts are entirely free to attend, with no ticket required, ensuring that anyone interested can experience the performances regardless of their financial situation.
- Raising Awareness for Local Nonprofits: In addition to celebrating music, the concert series highlights the important work of local nonprofit organizations, helping raise awareness for their missions in the community.
A Unique Concert Experience: Grace Lutheran by the Sea Church’s concert series stands out by fostering a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Unlike typical charity events, there is no pressure to donate. While guests are invited to leave a gift in a basket at the entrance if they are able, there is no obligation. The focus is on creating an enjoyable experience for all attendees.
The concerts are known for their diverse musical repertoire and inclusion of both traditional and unique instruments. Previous performances have featured rare instruments like the hammered dulcimer, giving attendees a chance to interact with these instruments after the performance ends.
With performances lasting just one hour, the concert series offers a perfect opportunity to unwind and reset for the week ahead, all while enjoying high-quality music and community engagement.
