NATS Mission Statement, Code of Ethics.

Membership in professional organizations holds many benefits.  As a many-year member of the National Association for Teachers of Singing (NATS), I can tell you that the principle benefit of my continued membership in NATS is the NATS Code of Ethics. Through my membership, I both ascribe to the Code and I am bound by it. The professional relationships that grow between me and each of my students, vocal and other, are rooted in and supported by the important tenets set out in this Code.  The NATS Code of Ethics is available to the public at https://www.nats.org/code-of-ethics.html.
